Poster Project

This project was about breathing new life into an altruistic, non-profit Syracuse charity aimed at bringing the community together through art and poetry. The art and poetry, made by Syracuse locals are made into posters and placed in what were once, abandoned poster panels, located throughout Downtown Syracuse. Although the charity is doing amazing work, filling the city with vibrant art that shares the love of Syracuse, the Poster Projects website was not the same. It had an overload of information, did not follow the same brand guidelines and style from page to page, and was difficult to navigate. For my Poster Project website, I wanted to bring simplicity into the website’s design and let the posters speak for themselves. I also wanted to simplify the site, making it easier for the community to join and become a part of this charity. To make this website I used, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and, Bootstrap.
